There’s nothing new at all about this concept. Many large dating networks like Successful Match, World Dating Partners, Friendfinder and others have been doing this for years. They pull together profiles from lots of smaller sites into one large database, so that the wider dating pool is available to the smaller, less well known sites. The only difference with Rubixx.com is that they are pulling together profiles from web sites that don’t belong to the same company. And because of this, the search options there are rather restricted. This is where the dating networks are far better. They have one common, seamless interface, and the visitor is usually not even aware that profiles may be coming from different sites.

Plus I agree with Barrett’s comment above. Sites like Rubixx.com just provide a link to a profile, and in order to get any useful information, you have to sign up to the likes of Match.com or Singlesnet.com anyways! So if you have to do that, why not just go directly to the site and do your search there? You then have far more search options and can see all of the profile details in one place and you don’t have to keep switching between different sites all the time.

I don't see this as a very useful tool unless you have memberships at all of the or more than one of the sites they aggregate data from. Each link is simply a referral tagged link to the user. Every search I made put me on a registration page. This tool will need a lot of work to make it useful for people who don't signup for multiple paid sites.
