		<description>These days, people like things to be verified &#039;scientifically&#039;, as if science is the harbinger of truth.  When applied to something as unscientific as relationships, it just seems bizarre to me, and reveals itself as a simple marketing tool.  If you take a close look at the categories they use to scientifically match potential daters, they are vague and stereotyped.  While the system may weed out people you&#039;d really hate, everyone knows that opposites attract - we very often go for people who have something we lack.  In other words, it doesn&#039;t really work.  It just encourages people to sign up, i.e. pay up.  Grrrr.</description>
