Yes, I agree with the post above, those sites are quite helpful to everybody who’s into Russian women dating. But they cannot completely save you from being scammed. I heard that some scammers are not even females! So what stops them from using another picture and name after they find themselves on the scammers list? I would advise just to trust your common sense guys and I’m sure you’ll be able to find a real woman. Some forums, e.g. forum.fiance.com can be a lot of help as well.

After two years of my search I finally found the sincere and loving woman! I’m at her place now, we’ve just married and coming back to my home in Germany soon. You can do it. It’s not as impossible as it seems to be. Good luck to you all!

I agree with the majority. I joined over 3 years ago and never encountered any problems, then a few months ago I went to log in and I couldn’t - my profile had inexplicably been deleted. I hadn’t broken any of the ‘rules’ and had just come out of a serious relationship with someone (who I incidentally met on another much better ‘paying’ dating site). I tried to set up a new profile and was booted off again. The moderators are akin to nazis and as for the wonderful Markus - you STINK! Yeah we all believe that you run POF single-handedly. Single we maybe, but stupid we are not. This site is an insult to any decent, intelligent person and you folk who are smug saying ohhhhh what a wonderful site I’ve met a great guy/girl of there. Beware - you too can be booted off at any time for no reason whatsoever. Please steer clear of this site. After all you get what you pay for and I guess I shouldn’t have expected much more from a free site.

Too late for me! Paid £60 and found out the next day I couldn’t get on the site all day, same problem this morning. Fed up getting winks from profiles with no pics who live in f@@@ing Peru! etc…..

I have had a great experience on plenty of fish. I met a wonderful guy on there, never thought I would have but I did. The only problem I had with this site is the messenger plane rarely works. Sometime its a miracle to talk to someone through that. But besides that it was worth it. I can say there are some decent men online.

Even if you manage to get your profile approved, their site isn’t really set up for people living outside of those locations. Try sugardaddyforme.com since they allow anyone!

Meetic is full of weirdoes who are very impolite. I just merely said to an English man that he was not courteous and had no education. I was banned from the site three days ago. I do not care for it was just not interesting.

Unfortunately that isn’t enough. My credit card company has just informed me that even if I cancel my card I will still be liable for any charges applied to it as a result of subscriptions I have entered into. Therefore it is my responsibility to ensure that any such subscriptions are cancelled.

I have cancelled my subscription using the option on the site, but have little faith in that, so have also requested a written confirmation from them.

Please could you tell me how to unsubscribe to meetic. I am not paying anything but have searched the site on how to unsubscribe and cant find anything. HELP I cant find an email address for them either.
