One more thing I forgot to mention. Ladies from Anastasia usually split 50/50 of what you pay for interpreter service w interpreter. It is a good reason to meet you.

Gentelmen, I am a native Russian speaker and visit Odessa twice a year. I relied on this site Anastasia and spent certain amount of money. Later i learned how it works. It is almost impossible to meet anyone there. Anastasia buys profiles from small local agencies. Anastasia do not even have offices in most cities they operate. Most ladies are paid for correspondence, chat participation, answering phone calls, and even for date with you.

Very often lady is not even aware of you, local agency managers are using their profiles to their advantage. You exchange letters and talk either w local dating agency staff or w girl who is paid for that.

When you participate in their tours, most girls (for Odessa) are hired in small cities (Kherson, Nikolaev and so on) for the event. They are paid for dating from the same money you paid for the introduction (I've heard something like 150 hrivna - about $20).

It is impossible to meet a sincere person there. You are going to lose your money to the greedy female or to indecent local agency. That's why when you arrive, woman already left city for some reason until your vacation is over.

The women are paid to chat. Perhaps there are some that are sincerely interested in the man they are chatting with, but probably a large number are just cashing in. The site can block anything you might say and you have no idea they did. I just told a woman I don't like to chat because of the high cost and she told me what I said was blocked. She just got stars like this, *****. I wouldn't have known if she hadn't told me. I paid to send her a line of stars. I've written long letters a couple of times and gotten responses back with no reference to my thoughts or questions in the letter.

I don't know whether the women are shallow or if the site didn't even bother to translate and send my letter. They could just be telling the women, hey, Joe Blow send you a letter, send him some BS back to get more of his money. I don't know why they think they have to be dishonest to make money. If they acted with integrity and there were more success stories, they would probably be more successful. If someone you knew had meet and married a beautiful Ukrainian woman through the site. That would be the best advertisement for their service, but there just isn't much of it. It's a business that gives an illusion that they don't even want to come true. If it does, they lose you as a paying customer.

I have too very bad experience. I paid 40 dollars to them to chat with a girl I like. She was online and it took long time for her to answer each chatting lines I sent to her. In few minutes time 40 dollars were gone. Thanks God I have not selected 1000 credits option. I put an online question after this incident. I asked how can you assure me that this girl is not chatting with 100s of other men and as an interpreter is between us how can I make sure that her desire towards me is true? . They answered to this question. "Do you have any other questions". This website is looting thousands of dollars from poor men who believe that a particular charming girl is going to be his future wife. The system is not liable.

I agree with the above. I also found out that most of the beautiful girls are on the site just to make you write and chat endlessly, wasting your time uselessly, while you pay over and over. It is a shame they are so unfair and men so naive.

I have to agree with John1 that Anastasia Web is only in business to separate the customer from LARGE amounts of cash. Just go to their Russian-Ukrainian website set up for the women. It is Svadba here and have Google translate it into English. You will get sick to your stomach when you realize to what extent that Anastasia/Svadba is in business to prey upon unsuspecting men! "A fool and his money are soon parted" and I should know. I am ashamed to say that I spent thousands.................................! LET THE BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!

@Bill Bill -- you mention that you placed "an ad both internet and Magazine" rather than use dating sites. That is interesting, but I would like to know more. The Internet is huge, and in fact the very dating sites are on it. So it would be very nice if you told us *where* on the Internet you placed your ad -- and which Magazines. Thanks!

I agree. I have the same opinion about Anastasia, also I now know much more about this agency as I now am married to a Russian woman (see below how I meet her).

My wife was formerly working as a cosmetic consultant and was often represented at what they call "Dating Party"....agencies hired hundreds of women, that even though none were interested in meeting men, they arranged a expensive party for example 200 men for different countries.....and of course they never find a women that was interested. Agencies make much money at this.

I also know, as my wife's friend joined a dating agency,....they call her several times and saying: Now there is a man in Moscow, he came from USA only to meet you.....can you see him tonight and after you just say you are not interested, your commission is 200 dollars.

About my wife: I placed my ad in both internet and Magazine and I used much more time to read women's inquiry to me, than think about surfing regular dating agencies. It was cheap, easy, and effective. Absolutely worth try for you to.
