Muslima.com is a waste of time! There are so many fake profiles! I decided to take my profile off as not one single man I met on there was serious about marriage!

This is un-Islamic if you have a hard time finding someone go to your local masjid or ask around if you're a guy and if you're a girl get your female family members to let people know you're ready for marriage ;).... but there's advice for women who want to go on online dating or marriage which is haram btw... men will lie 99.999% of the time. Don't be shocked if you put yourself in this fitna.

Salam, is this not meant to be a review page about the site not self advertising? I understand that people are selling the point home that they are looking for a partner but many are looking for reviews and experience of users on the Muslim sites. It seems people are so self involved that they have forgotten were to put the self advert. I had to peak at some of the other sites reviews to see if it's the people on the muslim section who have totally gone off track on here and it seems to be. A complete turn off ,anyone willing to give feedback and stick to the topic of this site would be nice to read and know what your experience was before I waste money on sites that is not worth being on.

Paid for membership-15 Dec 2010. It is now exactly 20:44 25 Jan 2011 by me in South Africa. I paid R200.00 membership fee for platinum member. Due to the fact i do not have a credit card, i asked my friend to do the payment through his account. He did put my profile ID no, Name, and all the needed information on the proof of payment document in writing. I scanned the proof of payment, but up till today nothing has been done to activate my account. I complained plenty of times, but still nothing happened. An investigation number was given to me, nothing happened. Another investigation number was given and still nothing happened. I changed my profile as been asked to my friend's name that did the payment as been asked, you know what? Still no action. Numerous profile matches were sent to me, ladies sending messages to me via my email, but Muslima.com just cannot find me on their site. Now the admin want me to fax the proof of payment which i will not do but publish this rather. R200.00 was taken from me and since 15 Dec 2010,i don't know for what. To claim my money back is going to take another month or two so i decided to rather lose this money and go public with Muslima.com and see how many R200.00s they are going to lose out on. There are numerous other sites that i will rather refer friends to.

I can give the ladies that sent messages, their names and id numbers too. But standard non paid up members can not open their mail. So nice. Wonder what those ladies think of me. I don't think that i will be able to put my face up on any web site because it is going to take a hell of a lot of convincing to do to the ladies to believe me that it was only a technical fault.
