He goes by the name of MrMagnificentCa he has a Canada zip code, his birth date is March 10 1963 he lives in the United States, his headline is Lets Make Memories. Please remove him or someone is going to get seriously scammed ,or you are going to lose alot of clients.

You wanna talk about a POF horror story...Well here's one for the record books.

This was a couple years ago and I had just recently become single so I figured I'd test the waters and get a POF account, harmless right?

After a few months of skimming through countless "you're hot" and "damns!!", I finally found a gentleman (or so I thought) who could hold a conversation and was worth following through with. After about a month of back and forth conversations I decided to arrange a coffee date, now I live in Kitchener and this guy lived about 30 minutes away in Woodstock so I figured when I got paid I would throw some gas in my car and make a trip to meet this stranger.

About a week and a half before my trip I came into work to find my boss smiling, when I asked her she said to me "THEY CAUGHT TORI STAFFORDS MURDERER!!", in which I was delighted as we had been following the case through the news for months. They had released his photo from the ones attached to his POF profile and sure enough, the murderer staring back at me in the paper was that of Micheal Rafferty and the exact profile photo of the guy I was supposed to be meeting in about a week. I broke down in tears as if they had waited any longer to catch him I may have ended up like the 8 year old girl this guy dismembered and murdered outside of Woodstock.

Now I will not touch POF with a ten foot pole as you never know the back-story of that profile picture.

Try something new. I am a middle age man an being 57 years old the club seen is a long time ago so a pal of mine told me to give this a shot.

This website is a scam. Women don't answer mail information. Even if they're fat and unpleasant they have a very overpriced perspective of themselves. I think the rate is way manipulated favoring those warthogs. I think feminism has damaged the National lady. They be mean these days.

@Tristan Since the USA is the country with the most obesity... your gonna get more fat women in your USA searches than not... think about it.

I don't understand why so many women are upset about men on this site that simply want to have an intimate encounter like the application allows us to choose. If the men are claiming they want long term commitment or marriage, but are lying, well that's different of course.

I want to talk to customer service. I'm not protected on pof I feel bc this guy sent me a nasty message ...I respond back letting know how I felt in a mature manner. He sends back this long mean message .he blocked me ...now he contacted me first saying mean things to me ...but he blocked me like I'm the bad person. I wanted to report his profile ..he cant get away with that bc women might not be attracted to him and he can't take the rejection . I wasn't rude to this many at all . I would really like to find. out how to report him .

Is there anyone who works for POF decent enough to answer my many attempts to get in touch with someone? For some reason I am unable to access my messages and am told that my password needs to be changed. This is outrageous as I am still able to pull up my profile so I am still on the database. I have read many comments from other clients regarding the same problem. Will anyone address this matter once and for all as I have 12 messages? That's because it is illegal to deny someone a service - even a free service - due to an alleged disease. If the site admin closed down the man's profile based on your information, he would be promptly and correctly sued. If this is a real concern to you, then you can approach the police. Tell them why you think this man is a threat to the public. If you're info seems to have merit, then they will investigate.

Simply put, threats and harassment are real reasons to close an account-as long as it is documented (which is very easy to do on websites). Third person heresay doesn't hold up in court or anywhere.

I recently met a very nice lady on POF. It seems so weird that her profile doesn't mention anything about her relationship (marriage) that she claims is over, but refuses to file for divorce. She is definitely a wolf in sheep's clothing. She lives in the Spokane, Coeur'de Alene area. She definitely lied on her profile and will string you along like she did to me. She has a profile and will tell you after the fact that she has a live in roommate, who is actually her husband. Don't play with fire unless you wish to get burned, and believe me she will burn you...

I've had a hard time in the small town here in Linden, tn because I have herpes. Most guys run, I try to be honest but they don't want what I have to give. I had 1 guy accept me and my herpes and treated me like a queen. I wish I never had of cheated or let him go. He was my one true love. I don't think he will ever have anything to do with me now. Online dating is best for literate, attractive people. If you can't type, spell, construct a simple sentence or are fat, unattractive or badly groomed, good luck to you. The advantages and disadvantages of POF are the same -- too many people. For people who are new to online dating, they may find a perfectly good person to date but think there might be someone even better on the next page. There seldom is. Strike while the iron is hot.

To get the most out of POF, you need to find out who the active members are. Do a basic or advanced search and you can see when they were last online. If you just click on the random photos sprinkled across the top of every page, which makes this the ugliest website around, that info doesn't appear.

Do yourself and the person you are emailing a favor and read the ENTIRE profile so you don't waste their time and yours. Don't assume that someone who finds bald men unattractive, for example, will make an exception for YOU!
