I've been a member of this site for about 3 year's now. And I've had nothing but a great time
and would recommend it to any single person. I've only had 1 bad date since I've been there.
I've meet some really pretty and very nice Lady's , Beat's the heck out of all the pay for online dating site's. Everyone that's complaining just is'nt doing it right!!

@robin evelyn Robin, You must have fallen for a copycat site "Plenty of Fish" do not charge and I have been with them in the UK for about 12 months. I have met three lovely ladies that unfortunately did not turn out to be soul mates. I have also attended two of their singles functions that are organised by local members. They are fun evenings with a mixture of all sorts.

@jon simpson I have been on POF for a few years, not once have I had to pay for anything.. Even when i made a profile being an ass just to see what would happen!

Plentyoffish is a free dating site that actually allows you to chat with real people in your area--unlike "have to pay something" dating-sites that have ladies living in Russia or somewhere else posing as "locals"...For what it is worth Plentyoffish is okay!

@scott Hey buddy, just hang in there mate. I would also recommend branching into other free dating sites like okcupid to diversify your options. Not to brag, but i did have one of my contacts come through and we are now f**k buddies. I did absolutely nothing to this end as it was entirely on her volition, I just went in there to have a drink with her and she decided to escalate it.

His philosophy has had a profound effect on my view on women and I must admit that I am a tad sloppy with what he recommends I do. I only tried his advice to full effect once and became one with the force. Heck, am gonna dust of my manual and get back to it now. But like I said buddy, hang in there, stay cool. ^^

I have 2 comments to make. (1) I get a American soldiers on here saying they want Australian wives. You talk to them on msn and then they ask for money, when u refuse they get real nasty. They also go on other sites as well. They aren't solders at all they are Africans living in Ghana. (2) If this is a dating site for serious people really looking to find someone, please tell me WHY some MEN on here think it's a Sex site? Wish there was some way to get rid of these HORRID PEOPLE. If there is i would love to know how to get RID of them. Other than that i like this site i find it to be better than some.

@Paula Paula, the site has no responsibility to ban people with an STD or any other condition for that matter. You could meet a guy at Starbuck's, take him home, sleep with him, and get an std. You can't put the blame on the coffee shop. The site just provides the avenue to meet people, not screen them for you. That is your responsibilty.

Would love to find someone to have fun with and play with to have fun sex and good times.

I just love how there are so many men on this site, that say they are looking for a long term relationship, but will not even answer when you send a message. Come on at the very least have the common courtesy to tell me your not interested. Or I'm not your type. Something, anything. But that's OK,I finally met a really nice gentleman. So the site worked for me! I guess you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your Prince. Well not literally kiss them, but you get the idea...

@Paul Kroell Since we can't see what your profile looks like maybe you should raise your standards for the women you are trying to meet or better yet...try a full figured woman..we are very nice and loving!!!! My only complaint about POF is there needs to be a POF for BBW's

I find a woman, look at her picture first then read the profile. They wonder why they are single. One: they are too choosy. Two, they don't even bother emailing you back. You get one to two emails and that's it. So yes there are a lot of woman out there who are only playing games because i have seen them. It's not always the man.

This is not good I cannot get into the Plentyoffish site.......I don't think its supposed to do that........Its as if the site doesn't even exist.

It's a good site but it's down too often, i'm not joining your team, there are weirdos and nice people on here just like in your town centre!

I think what Markus has done none of the so called corporate gurus have been able to do: Been a single person transforming and taking the dating world by storm is recommendable. Probably all those big companies have to share in a Big pond. Markus has all the Pond to Himself No wonder he is called BigFISH.

Hi, guys! Don't believe all this nonsense about free dating agencies. The women there are looking just for fun. If you really want to meet a nice, caring woman who'll become your devoted life partner, you should contact some local dating agencies. There are not so many women there, but they are all serious and really want to get married. I can advise you a nice Ukrainian agency MissUA. I've met my bride there!

I have used this website for well over a year and never had any trouble until the past few days. However, it seems to be working just fine now. I am dismayed that they have eliminated the chat portion as I found it very helpful. Does anyone know anything about that?
