Sorry to hear - I am a genuine man and I was thinking about joining because of the number of profiles that seemed active. I am obviously having second thoughts. So sorry to hear of all the men scamming...

My girlfriend told me about this site as I have never joined a dating service site ever. They were running a special of $1.99 to join. Once I entered all my credit card information, I was charged a whopping $89.00. I thought this site would be interesting. I do not need to pay to meet men. I meet enough on my own. I was scammed with no live person to talk to about this. I would suggest anyone signing up for this site to get a credit card and pay cash to put 10.00 on it and use it, therefore, they cannot get more than what you have on it. I don't believe all the people they have on the site are for real. It's like those frames you purchase from a store with a family already there...this site may hire someone to just sit there and answer responses with a few "real people listed: I am sincerely angry that me, a New Yorker, got scammed.

@Robert Szeligo I expect the extra amount added to your card is sales tax. If you look on the signup page it says on there that prices shown don't include it. Have a look.

A lot of outdated photos that make members look younger than they are, a lot of members who are not sincere in finding a permanent relationship, and biggest problem was too many members who made little or no effort to try and get to know you or let you get to know them. One woman invited me to travel over one thousand miles to meet for a cup of coffee on her first email. Not realistic. Another woman said all men are intimidated by her because she is so stunning and no matter where she goes, she is being stalked by members. Strange because they don't know her name or where she lives or works. Lot of people with a lot of problems. Some members refuse to post any basic info on their profile and only say, send me a message. I received messages from members who asked questions that were answered in my profile...many only look at the photos. Site reminds me of High School days with little maturity expected from seniors. Overall, few opportunities to find a serious a relationship.

@Kristy Kristy. There are good men out here. I feel the same way about a lot of the women. I have the feeling that most women cannot open their mouths without lying. I always wonder why it is so hard for them to tell the truth.

I've been on this site for almost one month and have encountered a lot of impersonators. I keep getting the same generic message from multiple people in multiple states with slightly different profile info. I talked to one for a while on the site and shortly after communicating through email his picture changed i got a virus. Most of the others I talked to are just perverts, you can't even have an intelligent conversation with them. I just about blocked all of them. When their letters are long like a resume and talks about a dead wife and young children and how much they travel for work. beware!

I have found that this site is difficult to sign on. They send you emails of interested flirts and messages, but you cannot connect with them. I am paying for a poor service, since I cannot connect when I want to. Yes there are con/scammers at every site. The stories are pretty much the same, in Africa and need you to help them cause after all they LOVE YOU Forever! Well I will not renew, am very disappointed in this site and to think they advertise on public TV. We are all probably better off not looking so hard and just let it happen on its own. Open our eyes, smile, friendly, and have fun in your life. Good luck.

There's good and bad everywhere, you just can't be so gullible...No photos, no fill ins then don't respond, and don't respond to "flirts" only. Sound upbeat, independent (not desperate), informed, not negative either and without going into your life history and you should be fine...It's so important to have a recent photo posted, at least one or two...Ask yourself if you'd respond to a profile w/o a photo...I know I wouldn't...Do you know how many people put up profiles w/o photos? Tons!, so what makes you so sure they're going to look at your photo less profile, unless they're scamming, of course...or married, which many are....Just be careful and don't believe everything you hear...Like one poster said, if it's too good to be true, it usually is...Be cautious, but have fun browsing anyway.

I am not very pleased with this site. There is no phone no, or address where they can be contacted. They will gladly take your payments online and then you are still not able to get onsite. It also seems everyone is either in construction or architecture. All describe themselves as being good looking and financially secure. Many men state they are only interested in older women. I think most women know what that means. They are looking for lonely, needy women to support them, because they don't have a JOB. All of us are not needy or lonely, and don't need a man to validate us. WOMEN, please be very careful here, there are a lot of scammers out there. Do not give out personal info or go to Yahoo to chat. Stay Safe.

Also, in order to view my messages and or flirts on the "free" site, I had to "Upgrade" my status which required payment by credit card. Now I keep getting a message on my profile page that my credit card is about to expire and I should upgrade my credit card status in order to maintain my Upgraded services on the site. This happened the same day I enrolled on the site. Why should that matter? It seems like they are just trying to get another of my credit cards on the site. Beware!

I have tangled with a man who I loaned money. I have learned my lesson.

I'm new to the site, less than 2 weeks and the few men I have chatted with seem to have the same background, history and similar work. Is this legit? Just thought it was too many to be a coincidence. They speak the same broken English, but are supposed to be from the USA, they all have lost both of their parents and they just happen to be only children. Does the site have any safeguards to make sure this is legit? I even had one guy ask for money; believe me I wasn't born yesterday. I ended the chat with him. I'm a little disappointed with the site right now.
