@Dale Henry Actually mate, people like me with aspergers syndrome turn to dating sites because we feel extremely uncomfortable around people, like in pubs and clubs we feel uncomfortable, so dating sites are our only hope of finding someone special.

Plenty of the members are just robot, fake photos and fake responses. When i simply tried to wink to same or different genders, the responses seem to be automatic with few pickup lines such as thank you for the wink, i appreciate your wink (read more) etc. They just want you to get subscribed to their site just to view the fake messages. The other party must subscribe in order to use the service. I will give this site NO stars if possible.

Ditto, one star only for the sake of commenting, otherwise would give minus 5. I keep getting Zoosk appear, totally unsolicited, in the apps notifications bar on my HTC - and there is no way I can see to remove it or block it. This is the thin edge of the wedge for Android. Does Google think its customers are going to sit back and take this appalling treatment?

I have had 2 payments taken from my credit card by Zoosk.com London extra to the monthly subs. I am trying to get these refunded through my credit card provider Oct/2011. Three emails to Zoosk customer services have not had a reply! I noted that the 6 months subs had been set to continue without my approval/ knowledge on October 22 so I cancelled it totally.

I just deleted my account on zoosk. I didn't even bother to pay 30 friggin dollars or more just to talk to people who can't respond back because they would rather not pay 30 dollars either. Once I found out I couldn't read my messages I deleted my account. I find it funny they ask you before you officially delete your account why you are deleting it. That's kind of a stupid question considering they should realize by now they suck at managing a "friendly" dating site.

All dating sites are a waste of time and money. It is sad that someone has to turn to dating websites to meet someone just rather ask someone out in person.

The advertising is very misleading, it is not free and they charge a $24.95 activation fee in addition to the monthly rate.

Yeah it's a rip off I paid for 3 months got charged for 8 months at $100 then I'm now a premium member but I can't meet anyone because they don't show whose online and they don't let non paying members contact you most dating sites let you contact each other if one of you is a paying member. I downloaded the Zoosk Messenger as well and that has made no difference. I'm going back to Cupid.com.

I came across a lot of mens profiles that had their personal information on display in clear view for all to see...such as email address and full name. I tried to do the same thing because i don't want to pay the $30 for the one month membership but my info was deleted and half assed sentences remained so it appeared as though i know jack shit about the English language and i need proper grammar and punctuation classes. And i was an A student in my English classes in college!! Very frustrating!

Why the hell would you sign up and use that through your Facebook anyway? Just like with any of those stupid game apps, that is just asking for access to your profile...like you found out the hard way. I'm just boggled over how people would spend money on that site!

Yea i don't really like zoosk either i could never talk to anyone...i could only write them like twice....i think that's why guys put their number first so girls can see it when the message gets locked. Smart thinking. But i actually did meet someone on there....one of the very first guys i started talking to so i don't need zoozk no more...gone with it.

I was going to pay for a membership about 3 weeks ago on Zoosk for 29.95. When I went to do the payment thing, all of the sudden I got another pop up screen charging me an activation fee of another 29.95. There's nothing showing anywhere that I have seen about an activation fee. Naturally I clicked off of it and didn't put any cc information in. Then about 30 mins later I got an email from Zoosk waiving the 29.95 activation fee lol. What a rip. It shouldn't have been there in the first place. If they wouldn't advertise on tv with those commercials, maybe the joining fee wouldn't be so high. 29.95 is just too much for a shaky dating website.....beware.

I have to think zoosk is a scam. I just subscribed and had 10 e-mails to open. I sent replies to all of them. Now i haven't got anything back from any of them. Funny UH.I also noticed that some women seem to say the same thing word for word. Funny UH! I don't get it. "I lost my wife to cancer" and "haven't dated for some time", now i try and i get this. I want out. I was scammed out of 100.00.

I went on Zoosk and wasted two hours of my life. I heard of zoosk from a television ad. To complete the profile it required you to link to facebook to tell about what TV shows you watch, what sports you watch and what games you like to play. I tried repeatedly to explain in the main section these personal likes of mine to keep having it edited in a very poor manner that made me look like an idiot that could not put together a sentence. I have my spelling and grammar problems, but they are mine and therefore ok in my profile. As the profile had a spot for this information and I was putting in another "spot", I felt the need to explain why so a potential reader would understand I can follow instructions and am not a total idiot. I tried to say I couldn't link to facebook as I had no account there. I explained that I do not, and have never used myspace or facebook. Apparently this is a problem for them and simply kept editing my profile removing various parts of sentences that left gibberish. Nowhere did it say facebook was required. At no time did I diss facebook. It's this simple, my profile my words, Frick the natzi profile police, give me freedom of speech. The prices were outrageous. Try a free site like plentyofish or datehookup that allows you to represent yourself and does not force entry into your bank account to communicate.

They don't really have the membership they advertise. In several other dating services if you pay for membership you can contact other members who signed up and they can reply to your email. Not so with Zoosk. If you are interested in someone, they have to pay before they can reply to your email. Since most of their "membership" is nonpaid members, you have very few people that you can actually contact and expect a reply.
