I give Cupid one star

It is high time someone investigated Cupid and all of its affiliate sites! You are bombarded with emails until you take a subscription then the emails all stop. None of the "members" that have emailed you (directly, not by flirtcast) ever reply. I live in Inverness (Scotland) and there is no way there are that many gorgeous females living in Inverness! And let’s face it, if there were they would not need to go on a dating site to find a man.

Next to emails received on most of these sites there is a colour coded envelope which is supposed to tell you if the sender has directly sent the email, if it s a flirtcast (bulk mail) or a site info mail(telling you someone has just joined). These colour coded notifications cannot be trusted. You will get a flood of these so called direct messages (green colour) and as soon as you subscribe they will stop. These practices are not morally correct and I wonder if they are actually legal.

Cupid.com plc and all of its affiliate sites pray on the lonely singles just desperate for even just that one email from someone nice. There is very little, if anything genuine about the "service" they provide.

I have wasted hours and hours....actually equating to days and days not to mention the money I have spent on Cupid.

Please speak up about your experiences.

This company should be investigated and either made to tow the line or shut down completely....who has responsibility to police this??

How can a PLC PUBLIC limited company get away with conning vulnerable people? A doorstep con-artist would soon be arrested by the police. Any responses would be appreciated....maybe it's time someone passed experiences and information on to the relevant authorities in the various countries this company operates in.

I give cupid one star...only because that is the lowest you are allowed to give in order to leave this comment! Oh and as a PS... If there are any disillusioned, decent, attractive, intelligent ladies in the age range of 35 to 45 who are looking for a decent honest man don't hesitate to give me a shout lol

PPS Plenty of fish is, as has been mentioned before on here is a genuine dating site. Haven’t had a single in-genuine mail from anyone in two years...that speaks volumes user name malkey...lol
