Hiyas, well I’ve read the posts here about cupid.com and i joined it a day ago, with the intention of only doing the 3 day trial and cancelling well before the expiry date. I just cancelled by going through the entire process. I took screenshots of each step and confirmation they gave on the site, and in emails. It took about 5 minutes maybe 10, but the last email I got was this.... [email removed]

So according to them, I will NOT be billed after that date, and I have the screenshots to prove it. I may even call my bank manager and tell them to not approve any transactions from them in future. Just to be safe.

All in all while being on the site, I'm finding that every woman I converse with types in a kind of broken English, even though they say they are from Australia. One has profile as being from Australia, but when conversing with her, she said she is staying with her grand mum in Nigeria... "Alarm bells". She's pretty hot though lol. IF it's a real pic. Out of about 7 that i have conversed with, only one of them seems to type in normal English, even though they all say they are Australian on profile or say they are overseas at the moment. Either way, I suggest that if you do swap emails, don't make it your default isp email, and don't give out any info such as phone numbers etc and definitely don't give out any bank info or home address.

Also when cancelling any billing, take screenshots of each stage of the process, including emails relating to the cancellation request. Then at least you have proof, of it all. Also include the date and time from your clock on screen in the screenshot.

k ty take care all, good luck.
