Salaam aleykom! i recently stopped using the site b/c I met someone on there that I really clicked with. Until I see where things go with him, I have decided to keep my profile hidden. Inshallah, things will work out! Overall, my experience on Arablounge has been fantastic. I have met lots of interesting people and have actually made some cool friends that I plan staying in touch with. The cost was the same as match (30 something dollars) but obviously I have access to meeting more Arabs on Arablounge than I do on match.
This site costs as much as a gym membership. 3x as much as Match.com. Once every other week you are sent an email of your matches. I asked to be sent emails only of women who live near me as they only sent me women from other countries. They did not oblige. They do not accept refunds. I was on for 90 days and never received one email. I spent 48 hours honing my profile. I think it has more to do with the engineers of the site, than women not being interested. I mean, come on, Arablounge.com should be more pro-active in trying to help desperate singles. To sum, the site is corrupt.
I am looking to make friendship with Arabs. I like to meet someone from Egypt or anywhere in the ME, as long as it is an Arab country, I’d like to learn Arab. I would like to visit the Middle East one day.
