eLoveDates is a dating service offering free picture personal ads, mail and chat rooms. The site is international and is quite popular having around 7,000 members. On joining, new profiles must be initially approved (a process that can take a few days). Once approved, you’ll be able to access the site, and complete the more detailed sections of your profile. If you want to be thorough, there’s several sections to complete, including an about section, appearance, spoken languages, and something about the person you’d like to meet. This section is important if you plan to use the matching option, since it will show you other members who best match your preferred traits. There’s also a basic search and an advanced search which both allow more flexibility in setting preferences.
There are plenty of things on the site to keep members occupied. One of these is the picture rating tool. Select a gender and age range and you’ll be presented pictures one-after-another which you can rate. Top people (men and women who’ve gathered the most votes) are shown on their own pages. Members can also publish their own blogs and read those of others. There’s also a forum section however this seems to be underutilized.
eLoveDates is a basic site offering free membership. It’s available in several different languages and has members from across the world.
