Fast Cupid is an online dating site for the single person with above average intelligence. The site boasts over a half million members worldwide and offers a number of high tech features such as instant messenger and video introductions. Members can also join groups, upload photos into the photo gallery, write in blogs and create an online friends network. Signing up is free as is the basic membership; however, upgrading to a Gold or Silver Membership will give greater site and unlimited feature access. Upgraded memberships and additional features such as profile highlights can be purchased in monthly, quarterly or yearly increments.
FastCupid.com is not only a dating site but a meeting place where site members can get together in forums and have intelligent conversation. Fastcupid (or Nerve Personals) is a ripoff! DO NOT JOIN. They will take your card and keep billing it until hell freezes over. Or until the deepwater oil well is capped. I have attempted on many occasions to email them, never returned my email. My credit card co had to go to war with them, reversing all their charges. They have NO PHONE contact. Good luck trying to get to a human being via tel. It's a Greedy Sham Company and once you're in, you'll NEVER get out. Go elsewhere!
Fast Cupid is a RIP OFF. You get one week free and then if after that week you choose not to pay them- they keep your photo and profile on line (though you have no access to it) but others do...like you're actually an active member. Talk about identity theft.
BUT, I did pay (like a moron). I bought the Premium membership so that I could write people. Then it happened, I had to change my email address on my profile and I was never able to access my account again. Is my picture and profile still there? Yes. Can I get to it to see who has tried to contact me?
No.
Fast Cupid charged me $54.00 and I was only on it for three weeks before I lost contact with my own account.
Did I write Customer Service? You bet I did! Not less than 6 times and never heard back from them once. Did I ask them to just match up my username, password, and email address on their end? Yes. Did they? NO.
Fast Cupid is a scam. Go elsewhere.
Once good, now awful. Site is severely crippled until you upgrade to "premium." Member numbers grossly inflated by inactive profiles.
