Gkiss is personal contact site for gay men. It’s part of the Successful Match group, a company that operates a number of niche dating websites. GKiss as such has a standard layout and offers the full range of options and features to help members get to know one another and to form social circles. On joining the site, you’ll be required to fill in some personal details, write a short biography, and upload a photo (optional) for your profile. Those wishing to disclose HIV or STD status can do so, as well as set preferences for the status of a partner. There are two membership levels, standard (free member) and Gold.
A basic search is available to all users, however those wishing to set additional preferences are required to upgrade to Gold (discounts and offers are regularly available, so keep a lookout for these). There are also a number of pre-set searches, for instance new members, birthday boys, and a star sign search. There’s also a “compatible matches” search that will match your preferences with others on the site and give you a list of “potential matches” to check out. This option is only available to Gold members. In addition to this, Gold members are assigned their own personal account manager to help improve their experience on the site.
As well as emailing and virtual “winking”, there’s an instant messenger tool where members who are online can chat directly with one-another. As a free members you will be able to view profiles and send winks (express interest) to others, however if an attempt to send an email is made, you’ll be forwarded to the payment page and will be prompted to upgrade.
