Well the name says it all! Hot Russian Brides is a site that connects Western men with beautiful women from Eastern Europe and charges the men a hefty fee for the privilege. The women are purportedly seeking marriage or at least a long term relationship outside of their home country and are willing to relocate. Those familiar with “Mail Order Bride” sites will recognizes this as a typical setup where fees are charged for services such as email correspondence, translations and letter delivery as well as travel arrangements.
On accessing the site, men will find a catalog of about 10,000 attractive ladies, mostly from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Czech Republic but also profiles of women already living in the United States or United Kingdom. Although it is free to join the site, features such as live chat, as well as sending and opening emails requires the purchase of credits. Credit packages start at $30 and work out slightly cheaper when purchased in larger quantities. After joining and entering the site, my email box already had two messages, from attractive young women, waiting to be opened. I also receive several chat requests from ladies who were online. However trying to open an email or open a chat session will take you immediately to the payment page. So these “invitations” obviously need to be treated with some caution. It’s also not possible to leave the payment page by hitting the back button on your browser. You’ll need to check your page history, and select a previous page, or log off and back on again.
