How About We...
“How About We” turns the tables on conventional online dating. The concept is pretty simple; you post date ideas, saying where you’d like to go and what you’d like to do. People can respond if they’re interested. You’ll also receive new date suggestions each day that match your chosen interests. Unlike most dating sites which have long forms to fill in, “How About We” asks questions one by one, such as “what’s your favorite movie”, “what’s your ideal date location” and so on. For those in a hurry to get started, most questions can be skipped. You’ll also need to have a photo on your profile, as the site won’t let you in without one. This doesn’t need to be a face shot but it helps if you’re serious about finding someone.
Once in the site, the first thing I suggest is trying the “play button”. There are two parts to this: Speed date, and Daily Dates. The speed date part will show you people who match your preferences one by one. You can respond with “Yes”, or “No”. Those who you like will be sent a message indicating that you’re interested. The daily dates will show you a handful of people who match your preferences more closely. In this part, you can skip to the person’s profile and send them a date idea “how about we go …”.
“How About We” is a pay site. If you click with someone, and decide you want to get to know them, you’ll need to upgrade in order to be able to exchange messages with them.
