I recently met a very nice lady on POF. It seems so weird that her profile doesn't mention anything about her relationship (marriage) that she claims is over, but refuses to file for divorce. She is definitely a wolf in sheep's clothing. She lives in the Spokane, Coeur'de Alene area. She definitely lied on her profile and will string you along like she did to me. She has a profile and will tell you after the fact that she has a live in roommate, who is actually her husband. @April Ash This site is a scam, only works properly if u upgrade and they spam everywhere, customer support is terrible and all the match making tools are fake/random. Watch out for 'meet me' notifications that don't exist and try to just gain hits on their site. Worst of the lot!

I've had a hard time in the small town here in Linden, tn because I have herpes. Most guys run, I try to be honest but they don't want what I have to give. I had 1 guy accept me and my herpes and treated me like a queen. I wish I never had of cheated or let him go. He was my one true love. I don't think he will ever have anything to do with me now. I feel so alone. I let a good thing go, I never should have. Other than that the site has made me plenty of dates, sometimes they beat me up after I tell them, some act like they don't care and want 1 thing only.

I tried to register with pof.com but after filling out the registration form, I'd click submit and I'd be taken right back to the form again ,being instructed to fill out the captcha thingy. This would occur over and over again as though their server wasn't recognising the fact i was filling the form out correctly (or at all..not sure which)..anyway, filling out that dam*ed captcha field gets old after 6 times in a row. i was doing it correctly. The letters under the circles as it states on the form. Looks to me like their server needs some adjustments.

It is now 2010, and I am having the same effing problem with reregistering. It won't recognize me. I deleted my account last month thinking I had found someone. It didn't work out, and now I want back on and POF accepts my profile, only to not find my username or email in their database. Won't let me IM or email anyone...as they do not see it pop up (I have called friends from the site and they look and don't see the IM or email.)

It is BS to say the least. Please help me...the customercare@pof.com does not reply.

I again opened another account just to send the creator Markus yet another warning about the male on this site..Only yet again to have my account deleted and his to remain open..Again nobody from Plenty Of Fish has ever bothered to contact me or reply to any of my messages..I guess they enjoy watching innocent people's lives being destroyed.. As I said even the use of a condom will not stop the spread of the STD...All they would have to do is contact the Police Department from the man's home town to confirm that the information I have given is correct.. As the police are very aware of this man and his STD... I am proud I never used these site's and am even prouder that I am not like any of these ignorant people who believe it is okay to allow this man whom is not even a paid member to continue using this site just to spread his STD...These people disgust me to no end.

@JAY I agree with you 100%..The maker of this site is a very ignorant individual...I have made several reports to them about a male from PEI who has a very serious life time STd and uses this site to meet women and continue to spread this STD... I have begged they remove his profile..The only response I receive is them removing my profile but keeping his active..Hopefully this man will find himself in jail for what he has been doing to all these women.. Hello all. I have been trying to over a week to register. It keeps telling me that my password is too easy. I have tried all kind of letter and numbers combination, with and without caps and still received the same message. Anyone having this problem? I may never find this thread again! LOL Thanks.

I recently made several complaints about a male on this site who has a lifelong STD...He is using this site and continuing to spread this STD... Even though numerous complaints were put into Plenty Of Fish regarding this man ...They still allow him access to this site...Friends and I opened accounts to warn people of the dangers on this site..This STD is not preventable even with the use of a condom...However our accounts were closed very quickly...But he still remains so he can continue to meet women and make more victims.. My opinion is they are as guilty as him for allowing him access to meet women he would not have the chance to meet without this site. Not once has anybody off the site contacted me in regards as to why they still continue to allow this man on the site...The Police have been notified but still Plenty Of fish allows this to happen.. My worry is just how many victim's there will be now already ????

I agree with "that guy", I have found the girls on POF to be (mostly) stuck up, superficial and uneducated cows. The Australian women I contacted mainly only cared about money, the Chinese girls (living in China now), only care about money, or getting a visa to USA, UK, or Australia.

The women hardly even respond to messages.

POF is lame in my opinion!

I just love how there are so many men on this site, that say they are looking for a long term relationship, but will not even answer when you send a message. The web site is not really bad, there are some nice features as the IM. The bad part is the people who post things there, some of them are the most arrogant men, serial daters, and dishonesty in general is the common term. What else? You get what you pay for.

I still do not know if the females get to see my interests when i message them and send my profile to them--none will tell me and it's been 2 months. Also, why are women allowed to say they want long-term relationships and then drag me to mixers and dive bars and then show me their potential lovers who have goo goo eyes for them and are better looking. it's plain mean. I end up footing the bill and am only an escort while these women just try to get these potential lovers jealous.
