RSVP.com.au is one of the most active dating sites in Australia. It offers a venue for Australians of all sexual orientations to meet one another, with an eye to either friendship or romance. This site takes the anxiety out of dating for modern Australians of all ages. It can be difficult to get to know someone at a bar. Real communication is often drowned out by the pressures of "real life," especially in the early stages of a relationship, when people are just getting to know one another.
As the name implies, RSVP.com.au adds to romantic relationships that charm they had when people still wrote each other letters. With this site, members can create personal profiles with information and photographs, and browse the profiles of other members. Members can send virtual "kisses" to other members that have attracted their attention. This is comparable, in real-world terms, to smoldering glances sent across a crowded room. Members can then choose to "RSVP" one another and continue the relationship through a number of different communication channels.

I had a guy send me emails every day for 2 weeks, telling me I was the one, even proposed to me, so i fall for him and tell him i have and poof, he's gone. What's that about?
This site is utter rubbish. I was hearing loads of hype about it and then I decided to join. They want to charge me $50.00+ for 1 month of contacting. Absolute nonsense I say, it's clearly run by a bunch of money hungry people. Please don't join this site. It's not even very functional, I tried uploading images and adding things to my profile and I kept running into problems.
Bottom line, don't sign up.
No doubt, no ifs, no buts, no maybes it's definitely, positively rigged to rip you off. You could call it organised crime because they are more or less deceiving then stealing. A bit like a pokie machine or a nigerian letter.
This site sucks! They want 60 dollars before you can even message someone, what a rip off!! You're better off just looking through mutual friends on facebook, costs nothing to find them/message them and you already have something in common!
RSVP is run by guys with a big ego seeking your money before they provide you with a service. They also can delete your profile with credit in for stamps if you complain to them about anything except telling them how great they are!
Men, we are the suckers and they provide the women as bates! Some are experts at fleecing you or are links to another place outside Australia. I can always pick them up- other women are bored and always ask you for stamps to contact her! .. Very few ever pay for stamps. I have run that test for a long time. I even suspect they keep some women on the pay role with great profiles just for you to buy stamps. Besides that all the women are mainly cougars of all ages! Always seeking younger men than their age! ... Meaning they are seeking sex with younger studs. When you reach 60 you are a dead duck.. She needs to be 70 to ask for your body as her last opportunity in life. In the mean time any younger guy that wants a quick date, just propose any woman older than himself and he gets her instantly ... Who said we men only want one thing?
Like most dating sites, RSVP is set up to prey on men. It's subtle at first but then the pressure increases. It gives you a list of unknown women who have viewed your profile and you can't view theirs until you pay some money, oh, and you can't remove them from the list until you pay some money, oh, and if you wink at someone and they wink back, that's the end of the correspondence until you pay some money. So basically it's a scam to fleece you for money and a great avenue for 20yo Asian women to find a free ticket to Australia. I'm sure there are genuine listings on the site but I believe for most men it's a waste of money and emotional energy.
It always amuses me how many people - nearly always men, post ludicrous messages on these comment forums saying things like "i joined this dating site, i am REALLY good looking, i posted my photos and got no replies ... SO IT MUST BE A SCAM"... Duh! Face reality you men... you are probably nowhere near as good looking as you think you are, you may be dull, you may have other hang ups that you don't even realise. Grow up - stop whining, and stop blaming every other thing but yourself.
Hi All,
Come on guys, Go easy on RSVP.com.au - we are dealing with humans, aka Neanderthals, who are widely known to be finicky & quirky types at the best of times! Moreover, most of you whingers are trying to contact the female versions of humanhood, who are characteristically entitled to change their mind at the drop of a hat or rather, the slightest "off" or "risky" comment. They are entitled to guard their privacy and safety risk & us guys need to be sincerely mindful & considerate of this reaction. The bottom line, chaps, is "You put s*** in, you get s*** out! or in most cases, you may get no response at all.
So, maybe if you losers will make a concerted effort to consider CLEANING YOUR ACT UP in your communications with the "other 1/2 - to - be", you may notice a higher level of responses coming back at ya. This will also help in the appreciation of the Aussie Male by all, as I seriously think us blokes need to fair dinkum LIFT OUR GAME a few levels! Any feedback from you lovely ladies out there?! :) :)
Guys, if you're considering joining RSVP.com.au don't waste a dollar until you read this!
Obviously online dating has it's pro's and con's...but i believe this site is nothing more than a SCAM. After recently joining, spending hours on crafting a great profile, uploading good photos, and spending $110 on stamps etc - i made contact with several women only to find most didn't even reply (this is after THE WOMAN ASKS YOU to email them!!). I can also personally vouch for fact that many of the women on here have had their profiles displaying for YEARS. And as for customer service.....sadly, it's a case of WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE (via email only).
I have a problem with the RSVP site. I suspect they systematically send false kisses to its members in order for the member to buy (EXPENSIVE) stamps. I find it inconceivable there are so many rude women out there that first send a "I want to get to know you" kiss but then choose to ignore a friendly introductory email. I have also had experience with receiving a first reply but then for no apparent reason a subsequent email is ignored. Interestingly a lot of these women show very little information on their profile and often they are new members. Which leads me to think that the profile has been hurriedly set up purely for the scam! I have no doubt that I am not the only one that has experience what I believe is a rip off
I would agree RSVP is a RIP off... stamps expire too quickly.. it's up to the man to buy stamps.. Women say oh yes I'd love to hear from you in a free reply and when you spend the money and stamps on them and send an email.. they never reply.. Wasted time money and stamps.. RIP off .. Other sites are not contact based and don't expire for months.
I think the site is a rip off! It is not 'free' at all! The stamps should not expire so quickly. Once you buy the stamps you should be able to use them at your own leisure. What a rip off!!!!
zero stars.
