Totally bogus site. I can't even get a response to my request for a refund. I was only viewed and messaged by men with the same profile script, all in the construction business and ten years younger than my stated age. Their internet security certificate has been revoked as well. Stay away from this website.

This service is dangerous and a waste of money. I have had so many scam artists, sick people, 45 - 55 year olds when I clearly stated I was only interested in someone close to my age which is 78. Deception runs rampant at this service so don't believe anyone and get yourself in trouble. I have been told some names and checked nationwide and there is no one by that name in the USA. I was told by someone named Conan Coleman that he lived in a town in upstate NY and was raising a daughter and was a contractor. He said he went to Africa on a job and was robbed and had no money to get his daughter and himself back home. I told him he was a liar and I never heard from him again. I checked the town he said he was from and the phone number he gave to me and there was no one by that name. This is only one of the problems I have had. He also sent bogus photos of himself and his so called daughter. These men are stealing innocent girl’s photos to use this way.

This site worked for me. I wasn't sure about this site since I never heard about it before. I discovered it a few weeks ago on this review site and decided to give it a chance. I was surprised to see how many other single seniors they have on their site. I got several matches emailed to me and I began a messaging another member. After a few back and forth emails we decided to meet in person and we plan to meet up again this weekend. BTW, i noticed seniorpeoplemeet's commercial the other day while watching cable.

I think this site might have started with good money making intentions but has become overrun by scammers. The scammers seem to think that the word "senior" is associated with being lonely, needy and addled. I have had the same experiences as Liz. The really sick part is that they claim to have lost their wives to some tragic happening and are left with a child to raise (which they would more than happy to send you photos of). Some even post children's photos in their profiles. I feel sorry for the innocent people and children that have had their photos stolen and used by such unscrupulous people. If you continue to use the site-be wary-key words-widowed, construction business (road, bridges), 1 child, live in Essex MD or Illinois-and watch for matching profile scripts. Altogether this is a very dangerous site.

I sign up. I have received a lot of flirt alerts and I'm interested messages and I have responded But that is where it ends no further responses..Are these guys for real? Also it would be nice to go to a chat room.

Free? I tried but cannot get into these matches because now I have to "pay" and then before I know it, the "shock wave player" is required and for some reason I cannot get it thru. I called tech support and they couldn't figure it out either after making me wait on hold back and forth for an hour!!! I will go to another dating service because of this ridiculous system they have.

I have been on the site for 10 days and have received about 75 "views" and 25 "flirts." None of them appear to be bogus (or dangerous). The only thing I dislike is that members are alerted each time they are viewed. So...you receive a flirt and (naturally) you refer to the profile of the sender. He is dreadfully unsuitable, but because you visited his profile page, he is encouraged. My few contacts have been with very nice, legitimate local men who are not likely to ask for money. Always ask for a photo, though. That separates the serious seekers from those who want to operate on your dime. Watch your profile info -- no "lonely widow" verbiage. The scammers prey on the most vulnerable.

Is this site a scam? Has anyone out there met anyone? Says it's free; I guess that means to browse. When you want to connect with someone, that's when they ask for money to join. Thank you for any assistance.

Beware! This site has scammers from Ghana, Africa. Search Google for "Ghana scams" to a read U.S. Embassy report. Be careful! I have had two attempts made. They want you to buy Ghana air time phone cards and send them money! Don't get taken! I don't believe the entire site is a scam, but there are predators lurking. They will invite you to chat and then want you to go to Yahoo messenger. Don't do it!

I'm new to the site, less than 2 weeks and the few men I have chatted with seem to have the same background, history and similar work. Is this legit? Just thought it was too many to be a coincidence. They speak the same broken English, but are supposed to be from the USA, they all have lost both of their parents and they just happen to be only children. Does the site have any safeguards to make sure this is legit? I even had one guy ask for money; believe me I wasn't born yesterday. I ended the chat with him. I'm a little disappointed with the site right now.

I really like this dating service, they don't try to match a tall lady with a short man (5'8"), which is wrong. Have some common sense and match people in height also. I'm tall and would never date a man under 6'2" because I am big, beautiful and statuesque.
