Renowned for its 30 second account creator, SinglesNet is known to be one of the easiest to use online dating sites available. This site offers a free trial service and a number of perks, such as state of the art compatibility software. Members are also given the option to upgrade accounts. On signing up you'll be asked a few basic questions about yourself, your hobbies, educational background, occupation and your preferences in a partner. You can provide as much or as little information as you like at this stage.

Your profile can be edited at any time, so you can go back at a later time and add more information if you wish. The site recommends that you add at least two good quality photos to your profile. Many people choose to ignore profiles without photos when searching, so adding a good quality photo is a good idea if you're serious about meeting someone on the site.

After signing up, and creating a profile, you can locate and then contact other members through the zip code search or make use of the compatibility match system. Free membership gives you access to the basic functions of the site such as searching, and sending and receiving virtual winks and flirts. The site's matchmaking system also sends you profiles of members that might be compatible with you directly to your inbox. To communicate with other member via emails however, you'll need to upgrade your membership.

Upgrading your membership not only gives you full access to the site's hi-tech features but also your profile will receive a higher priority than standard members in searches, you'll be able to make full use of the matchmaking technology, and you'll receive priority online support. The company also offers a 30-day money back guarantee, if you are not completely satisfied with the service.

With a worldwide range, users of Singlesnet.com can count on a vast database of eligible male and female single adults of every race, nationality and sexual preference. With over 5 Million members, SinglesNet is one of the most successful and popular online dating services around, and compares very favorably with its equivalents such as Match.com and eHarmony.

SinglesNet, with its attractive and easy to follow instructions, consistently ranks at the top of many recommended dating lists. The site allows members to keep complete control over their online dating experience. One can talk and meet with local singles or open their horizons with members in other countries. Contact information for SinglesNet.com is displayed on their website, and member support is provided during office hours for those who experience problems or require help.

Today from my home computer, I opened to another singles net profile and got access to all his personal information when I simply googled singlesnet. This man's account was already open!! When I immediately contacted the Help desk at Singles net they assumed that I was at public computer w/ another person's account open before me. I am on a private computer alone in my own home. When I tried to send them a second message via the Help icon, it refused to allow me to send it. I emailed the individual from my gmail. I have no other means of contacting singles.net. When they email me, it is always w/ a no-reply return address. This is a huge security breach and makes me very concerned for others who's accounts may be accessed by hackers!!! Can someone from your organization contact them in some other way???? Thank you so much.

Singlesnet.com better fix their site. It tells us to download new version and when you click on it, it will not download. This is very irritating. We pay money for this site.

I am VERY disappointed in this site! I just found out today that the "gentleman" I was corresponding with is a scammer, pretending to be an army soldier but who is not (borro) and I reported him today. Highly educated, coy, smooth talker...what makes me upset is that Singlesnet allowed him to change MAJOR information on his profile like state where he went to college, his location, etc. and NEVER caught on that it was a scammer. I did receive an immediate response from Singlesnet after I reported him but wonder if he'll even get booted off the site. Other websites make users sign an agreement that they have the legal right to download the photos that they use. I think Singlesnet should do this as well so these scammers can be pursued more legally when they steal real soldiers photos and post them as their own!!

Singlesnet is crap! It used to be cool until Match.com bought them & started charging. I use to be a popular guy in the CO chat & I just got banned for re-creating a profile to go in & say Hi to folks. Was not in there more than 5 minutes when I got banned. The site is a looser anymore & lost all the good people that use to go on there. Singlesnet claims to be #1 in 1998. OMG, that 12 years ago.

Same here....banned. I was banned from the site as well for not wanting to pay a fee. I would have paid for one month just to get email addresses of the guys I was interested in. But I can't go on at all now.

I have been a member of this site for about 9 months, when they decided to change it to a pay site to be able to access it. Made new profile and got banned the minute i entered chat room. Now they have my IP completely banned so cannot access the site at all. Since they say it is FREE they need to make it that way. Some people need to be banned from the site for illegal things and for offensive language in the chat rooms, but they are allowed to remain on this site, WHY? Because they are featured (paying) members. I have not met anybody from this site worth spending any of my time with, will not recommend this site to anyone and what few friends i did make have deleted their profiles also.

@Rebie Lopez Well Good luck and be real careful of who comes into view and try to get someone who is not over all the sites there ever was. Good luck because with this site, i did not have any.

@Bob Hei I agree with you because i had one chick to tell me someone ripped out of her money and she is stuck in Africa. So you do run into a bunch of nuts and when you detailed your profile, you are always getting someone totally different than you want or stay so far away that it's not going to happen. If i'm in Georgia and has picked out the region, why am i interested in someone in Arizona? Go Figure. Why would i want to pay $24.00 for one month when there are other sites for $24.99 for six months? Another thing if i'm looking for partners between ages 56-66 why send all these profiles of 22-49 to me?

This is a poorly designed site. It seems impossible to sort or narrow your searches, so even in my late 60s I get maybe 1500 matches that are impossible to sort through. They send potential matches that seem to have nothing to do with one's own profile (including ages that seem totally inappropriate--often 20+ years younger than I), and there's no way to turn off this feature. They also reject profiles without explanation other than saying to check their rules, which are as vague as can be. When I have written to ask the problem, I get a boilerplate, useless answer, and when I complain, I get no follow-up. I have a feeling that they have an algorithm that looks for words (e.g., "sex") with no regard to context (e.g., discussing a prostatectomy) or perhaps political positions one may wish to include to help screen out certain people. I don't know, because they won't tell me. While on-line singles sites are generally of little use (to me, perhaps not to others), this is a particularly user-unfriendly one.

This site allows men who have been reported for inappropriate behaviour to remain on the site. One member darnell139 has solicited women for prostitution and tries to sell sex for money. I have had an encounter with him. He stole my credit card and money from my purse. I have reported him to the police as well as Singlesnet who allows him to remain on the site to victimize women so BEWARE.

This site is a real ripoff. I became a Featured Member on two different occasions. On both occasions, I had females from other countries, posing to be from local areas, trying to get me to send them money to come to the United States to be with me. I also met one individual, in person, that turned out to be a real psycho case. I am really disgusted. I have asked that my money be returned but, to date, have received no reply. I am going to the PA State Attorney General to file a formal complaint.

I signed up today, but was not given opportunity to add my personal info. Now when I try to establish an account, you refuse to accept my e-mail address. If it's truly in use by another member, something is wrong. I suspect you just have it because I signed up. Either straighten this up or cancel membership and refund any charge made.

@christina I just signed up today and it keeps doing the gateway timeout to me also its crazy I'll be searching and then for no reason it does it, then I can't get on again for hours. They really need to fix this, it only happens with singlesnet.com web site.

I have been a paid member, (when I was actively looking), and recently a non paying member again. I have always had a good experience with the site, and even started one decent relationship because of it. I met someone else in the normal way, we have been together for 6 months, but if things don't work out I will be more than happy to give them another try.

This site spams email accounts. It breaks laws and regulations. It violates privacy and peace. Singlesnet solicits married people for membership. I know this because they solicited me and I am married. They attempt to destroy marriages and families and leave children broken homes. Their married members, lying to potential legitimate mates, lure the unsuspecting into a disgusting unethical mess. Any dating site who actively seeks married people must be shunned and reported. Run. Don't trust them. Any business who must spam emails, use unethical advertising and business practices must be a real dud of a business. You can only get into trouble with people who resort to spam and unethical practices.

Don't be a moron @Kelly, giving out an IM is not a sure sign of a scam. It’s a way to get in contact with you because not everyone wants to pay for a membership. If you weren't retarded you might have enjoyed the site better.

@Joseph I started out just being a non paying member and had no problems until I became a paying member...Now I can't even get on the singlesnet site. I get a gateway time out message every time...I call and they tell me in 3 days I will be able to access my account again ....that's a lie.....I cannot log on to my account and no matter what singlesnet link I click on I get the same response....Gateway time out......they CLAIM it gets blocked to prevent scammers from getting into my account....I don't believe this either because I can log on to any other sites and have no trouble at all.....just with Singlesnet.....think someone should maybe investigate this site and find out what is really going on....are we being ripped off, scammed, or what by singles net......

Currently I am a paid subscriber and cannot access the site and it’s been 3 days. I have tried entering the site numerous times in the past and all I receive is a "site under construction" balloon. What’s the point again? Oh, to meet single people......oh yes I almost forgot. I think I was able to climb aboard a time or two.... In short, this site is a scam......stay away.
