Velida is a marriage broker website featuring around 1,700 women, mostly from Bulgaria. There are two different access areas, one for men, and one for women. It’s not possible to view profiles of the same gender, or to access the other area of the site once registered. For men the site has a flat monthly fee, currently EUR 29.99 for 3 months, and this allows access to the on-site email, making it possible to contact women on the site. A translation service is also available but this costs extra (around EUR 35 for 15 letters). Gifts and flowers can also be purchase and sent to the woman/man of your choice. Women don't need to pay for access but they must create a high-quality profile and include portrait photos in order to have their account approved.
New joiners can search the female/male catalog and send interest messages. There’s a simple search box on the side that will allow you to set some preferences such as age range, country and languages spoken, and type of relationship. Other access, including messaging, requires upgrading to paid membership.
