DateMatch.com is a new innovative approach to online dating. Its main attractive feature is the “location based” search tool that allows you to search for potential matches right in your area. All you need to do is to enter your Zip Code and you are off to browsing through local profiles in seconds.
DateMatch.com currently offers two types of memberships. A free membership allows you to build your own profile by uploading 5 photos and entering a short “intro” about yourself and your interests. As a free member you also have the ability to view other people’s profiles, receive messages, view the members that are currently online, and of course take advantage of searching for local members in your area.
Paid members also have access to video and instant messaging, live webcam shows, and full-sized photos of all the other members unlike the thumbnail size included in the free membership. DateMatch.com offers two different sections for your photos. One is for your own profile photos and the second one is your photo gallery. All the photos in your profile section must be actual photos of you. The photos in your personal gallery do not require you to be in them, however photos of a person under the age of 18 is not permitted - this includes photos of your kids or pictures of you at a younger age. Once you have uploaded your photos, they are available for viewing by other people instantly, however they will be removed if their content is one of the subjects not permitted on the site. All users are allowed to view your photos, however you have full control over this access and you can limit people from viewing your gallery photos by editing your gallery permission settings.
