Just average....
From previous reviews my understanding was the "Friend Finder" is a user-friendly, dating service. So I decided to give it a try.
The very first page was a warning sign to me. The only option I was presented with on the first page was to sign up right away. Huge downside of this site is that it doesn't give you any ability to browse around as a free quest to check out different sections, FAQ or even "about us" page. However I decided to go ahead and sign up and see what happens.
After the sign up process I was able to gain access to a few sections that Friend Finder has to offer.
FriendFinder offers a variety of membership packages. Standard membership is free, however it does limit you to what you can do on the web site. As a Standard member, you can chat, send instant messages, and browse through worldwide database of profiles. You also have access to the interactive Magazine, where you can post or answer advice questions or post poetry and articles. If you decide you want have access to all of Friend Finder options, you can sign up for one of the premium memberships. Premium memberships offer far more privileges, however their prices do not come cheap. If you do decide to pay the cost of the full membership, the good thing about Friend Finder is that it offers variety of payment options such as credit cards, PayPal, and even payment via checks.
Overall, from my person experience on FriendFinder, it is easy to find lots of matches for yourself based on different search criteria and also your personal profile. However, they are not always exactly what you have requested, so you will end up having to go though all potential matches yourself to select the right ones for you. So it's like you have to do half the work yourself anyway for an expensive membership price.

I signed up for a free membership, and I was browsing around the site in a few minutes... True, it does prompt you for payment but you can skip the payment page and still use the website. You can't contact anyone though!
