Ok cupid is a tad better than most free sites currently out there. They have a match system which evolves after you answer many...many, many questions; over 400 to get 99% accuracy. There are many things to do to entertain yourself with. Profile creation is fairly straight forward and easy to use and takes only a few minutes to do. The match system on the site is far from perfect. However the site is still undergoing changes. The women seem a bit friendlier, however after a few general emails they tend to vanish for no reason. There is a wink feature if you’re the type that is not good on opening lines and a star rating match system. With more work this site could have potential.
The cons of the site, first off is the forums. There is hardly...if any moderation on them that I have noticed. Which allows for sociopaths to run rampant and free. My advice, avoid the forums all together! Another con is fake profiles. There are women that will post provocative nude or almost nude images of themselves. Of course these are women trying to lure horny men to some pay site of theirs. However if reported these profiles eventually do get deleted.
If you’re looking for an eHarmony/plenty of fish type dating site then give OkCupid a try.

This is basically a good site. Nice layout and features. Stay off the forums because it's just kids wasting time instead of studying or working. My main complaint is that there were not enough middle-aged men. It seems to skew younger, which meant I got plenty of younger guys cougar hunting. Tedious.
