There’s also paid memberships which grant extra privileges such as appearing higher in searches, and unrestricted messaging.

Hotornot - ripoff
Well this site as it states is a pic and rate site, with the chance to send and read e-mails if you sign up to pay for an acct. We used this site and got some e-mails sent back and forth. Most of them come to find out were just bots scheduled to log in and reply to members to get them to stay interested in the site. Once we figured this out we cancelled our memberships. The next month, they again charged us a monthly fee, and once again I cancelled it. Here it is two months after the first time we cancelled and they have again charged us for the cancelled accounts, but this time it showed up as a different charge on our bank acct. So we started an investigation, and what do you know the charge on our acct changed to hotornot again. So then we call them and they tried telling us that we have not cancelled and that we are still logging in, even that we had logged in today. The sales rep on the phone was completely unprofessional and rude. Once we told them that we had already cancelled twice now and that we had started an investigation, she then decided to tell us that she would refund the money to avoid the investigation. Do not use this site, it is a complete rip off.

I wouldn't rely on the ratings of photos in this site, as those who would probably get a 2 out of 10 on another site are being rated as 7's on this site. It is a little misleading.
