No better than any other paysite

On at least three occasions I was able to make contact with women who advertised themselves as living near Baltimore Maryland. Additionally their contact information was available to me through their Zoosk profile - even though I am unable to provide contact information myself. Of those three contacts, two were from Ghana and one of them was from Russia. I have attempted to contact Zoosk about these frauds and advise them I WILL NOT PAY for a site that fails to vet their profiles. I have received refunds from both Yahoo Personals and Match.com for their failure to execute their editorial responsibilities. I have no intention of joining a website for dating that cannot guarantee the people I am contacting are real.

There is no incentive to pursue Zoosk as a dating alternative since they perform no better than any other pay site. True, eHarmony, Match.com and Yahoo Personals also fail to vet their profiles and can often be found to have the same picture and profile in geographically disparate locations. The only sites I have used that are remotely better have been Plenty of Fish (with its severely limited customer support) and Sugardaddie.com.

Ultimately when you make contact with someone at any of these sites you still have to deal with the human element. Many sites feature very attractive profiles of very interesting women - the reality is, often they are interested in little more than e-mail and chat contact. In many cases pictures are months or years old and someone has been dipping into the fondue entirely too much in the elapsed time. Curvy does not have the meaning that I and so many others share - especially when a girl shows up at 5'6" and 230 lbs. While Spherical is definitely a curve - it is only one continuous curve. More believable are the women who post themselves as a few extra pounds when they clearly are very healthy and not stick thin. Reading posts that explain they are looking for sincerity and honesty when they cannot themselves behave in a responsible or honest manner. And on at least two occasions I have observed women who appear in these websites who then respond to tell me they have found someone else and they want to see how it works out - and yet they log in everyday hoping for that magic combination of Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

Perfect review! I could not say it better. Sad that pretty much all these dating sites have a 'scam element' to them.
